I just happened on this Multichoice advert on BBC… the focus is on a news reporter/camera woman who says she used to be a cleaner in the studio before she developed interest in handling the camera and there she is now.
Then it reminded me of a story I got to know at the end of last year. There’s a pilot with Air Peace… many years ago, he was one of the cabin crew members on another airline and used to tell my friend back then who knew him because of her regular travels that one day, he will fly an aircraft and will fly my friend. And he is doing so now. Since I heard of the story, the gentleman has flown me twice.
Then again I remember a certain Mr Umoh who taught me Government in secondary school. His grasp of the subject was so good that I fell in love with the subject, thus making it my favourite subject. Mr Umoh, I understand, used to be a clerical staff in my secondary school and got determined to go further academically and the result was a degree and qualification to teach us Government.
So what is that passion you have even when it seems beyond your reach now? How about setting your mind to it and working at it? #BeInspired #BeStrong #BeCourageous.
Am inspired. Thanks
